I began coming here back in the "old days" (ie their original church)... seems to be a family-oriented church on sunday...which makes me a bit uncomfortable as a single bachelor at times (some "family" men or women or kids look down on "singles") ...but during the week I occassionally come to the evening mass and it's more individual-oriented..I have a difficult time understanding one of the vietnamese (?) priests...he can't say his "r's" very well..not his fault, but I need strongly executed homilies otherwise I literally feel weak when I leave. And I wonder why they have a"second-language" priest here when I don't see too many second-language parishioners. Some of the other priests are stronger in their delivery, albeit Fr. Kerry can sometimes be a little too soft-spoken. There's nothing wrong with giving a "fierce" sermon (Father Frank at St. Basil is probably the best example of giving an intense homily )
