EXCELLENT RESPONSE TO:"Roman Catholic bishop Robert Barron advocates strategy of submission to the Islamic State"

Spencer's response is spot-on & reminds me of the sanctimonious condescending response I got from a "elite' catholic "professor" at a pro-life conference when I asked him "At what time,if ever, do we fight a civil war for the sake of the unborn?" I received the "pat" answer reserved for audiences of idiots who "they" (the elite) think need to be given answers aimed at those without emotional restraint, without the ability to think clearly at a high level, and that if he didn't speak cautiously I might go out and start shooting up planned parenthoods (never! ). He obviously thought he was speaking to somebody with a high school degree (not realizing I had a BA/BA/M.Div,but then he has a phD right? ). We must ask,at what point is the sophisticated response of some church leaders merelty a cover for do-nothing cowardice?

"The limited applications of non-
violence were obvious when, in 1938,
Gandhi advised Europe's Jews to
practice nonviolent resistance against
Nazi persecution. In some mystical
way, this would supposedly result in
Germany's moral reformation. Nearly
eighty years later, Bishop Barron
offers the same futile rationale—in
the name of Christ crucified—to
Catholics..."
