*However,Russia was the 1st country to allow abortion in all circumstances.Albeit,ironically,during the Stalin years abortion was illegal again in Russia (for the sake of population growth).After Stalin,it was legalized again. & Russia still has one of the highest abortion rates in the world,but apparently it has dramatically decreased since 1997;once again with a dire low population outlook for Russia if they don't have more births (see http://www.forbes.com/sites/markadomanis/2015/02/04/russias-abortion-rate-has-fallen-dramatically/ )
